The open beta will run throughout April. The platform is fully usable, all tools are activated, and on 1 May 2026 we will celebrate the final launch - also in the WoltLab Store. A WordPress plugin is also in the works and will follow after the launch.

  1. Create an account at aivor.ai and select a plan
  2. Aivor Download and install the new version 6.2 of the VoltLab plugins
  3. Generate a new API key in Aivor.ai and enter it in the plugin settings - done

If you are stuck somewhere: Our support will take care of the onboarding for you free of charge, show you how Aivor works and how your community will benefit from day 1.

WoltLab compatibility at a glance

We've made the transition as smooth as possible:

Aivor WoltLab plugins version 6.1 (old Darkwood.Design API):
Run on both WoltLab Suite 6.1 and WoltLab Suite 6.2, so if you don't want to switch yet, you can continue to use these plugins without any problems - even after updating to WoltLab Suite 6.2.

Aivor WoltLab plugins version 6.2 (new Aivor.ai API):
Require WoltLab Suite 6.2 and replace the 6.1 plugins. If you want the latest features, models and tools, switch to the 6.2 plugins.

In short, you can switch at your own pace. The old API will remain active until all customers have switched over - nothing will be switched off, nothing will run away from you.

I've been working on this platform for years and Aivor.ai is the most exciting step for me since the first Aivor plugin. It's the foundation for a whole family of new AI tools that I'm already actively working on. Tools that help forum operators to make their communities more lively, productive and successful.
